10-Year Plans

Every three years the Council releases a 10-Year Plan.

This is a blueprint for how the district will be run over the next 10 years. There are some big isues that require careful management and we want to know what you think.

Submissions have now closed.

Hearings are scheduled as per below.

Council Adopts Draft Plan 3 April 2012
Submissions Open 7 April 2012
Submissions Close 7 May 2012
Submissions Heard 16 & 17 May 2012
Plan Adopted 26 June 2012

The Council is considering participating as a 'Guaranteeing Local Authority' in the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency Limited.

The LGFA is a council-controlled trading organisation (CCTO).
