Event Services

We have a wide variety of event services available for use including event ticketing, hire equipment and advertising banner rental. We can also give you advice on the permits you may need to run your event and provide you with recommendations for catering, photography, advertising and more.

 

Event Permits

Depending on the type of event you’re having, you may require a permit or licence for liquor, fire, signs, amusement devices, gaming and hazardous substances. If you have an enquiry regarding any of these you can contact the Events Office on 03 441 0499 or email events@qldc.govt.nz.

Equipment Hire

Banners and Flags

We manage a range of banner and event signage opportunities within the Lakes District using the street lighting infrastructure and purpose built Council controlled structures for the promotion of events. Bookings are essential for all flag and banner sites. Our sites include:
