ICE (In Case of Emergency) Advice

Accessibility Normal TextMedium TextLarge Text

You may not be able to speak for yourself after an accident.  Your cell phone could be your lifeline.

ICE means In Case of Emergency, and is a world recognised way to make sure your next of kin are contacted if you have been in an accident.

How to adopt the ICE advice
•  Decide who you would like contacted if you are in an accident, ie next of kin or close friend.
•  Add their details as an entry in your cell phone phonebook.
•  Simply put the acronym ICE in front of the names
•  If there is more than one, use ICE1, ICE 2 and so on.

By adopting this advice, your cell phone may help emergency services workers to quickly contact a relative or friend; vital in a life or death situation.
