Plan Change 35 Queenstown Airport Aircraft Noise Boundaries

The purpose of this plan change is to amend the existing airport air noise boundaries and associated District Plan provisions to allow for projected Airport growth through to 2037. The Plan Change also includes an extension to the existing airport operating hours to allow for flight arrivals through to 12am.

This private plan change has been “adopted in part” by Council. The provisions to extend the Airport operating hours, to allow for aircraft arrivals through to 12am, have been “accepted” by Council. The text and provisions in the application document that have been “accepted” are highlighted in grey.
