The Wanaka Golf Club is proposing to sub-lease a portion of its leased land to assist with golf course maintenance and improvement costs. The sub-lease, to Wanaka Fun Park, would see the construction of a mini golf facility on the corner of Ballantyne Road and Stratford Terrace.

Given that the golf course land is reserve land vested in the Council, QLDC has decided to notify (May, 2012) the golf club’s proposal. 

The submission period has been extended to Monday, 11 June, 2012.
