Water Quality Test Results

We’ve fielded a few queries lately about water quality in Fernhill. Here are the results of the independent analysis of samples since late August which show the tests for the presence of two kinds of bacteria – e-coli and coliforms. These are “indicator bacteria” and the NZ Drinking Water Standards require that there be less than 1 bacteria for every 100ml of water – effectively that means zero bacteria in our water. You’ll see that the tests confirm there are less than 1 bacteria (ie zero) in the water. We also monitor chlorine levels in the water 24/7 and these are always more than the required level of 0.2mg per litre of water.
