Urban Design Panels

The Council has urban design panels who review proposed development projects that might impact on the quality of urban design in this district.


How to arrange a meeting with the Urban Design Panel

Step One

Use the flow chart below to confirm that your project is suitable for urban design panel review.

Step Two

Contact Rachel Beer, email rachel.beer@qldc.govt.nz or phone 03 441 0499 to arrange a meeting date.  The Queenstown panel meets on Fridays at 12.30pm and the Wanaka panel meets on Mondays at 12.30pm.


Step Three

Prepare and submit your application. Make sure that you provide all of the required information and submit it to Council at least 6 working days prior to the meeting.
