Outdoor games Teddy Bears Picnic Book a community gathering

About Summerdaze

Summerdaze is a collection of events we'll be running early-2021 throughout our community, encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors, celebrate their neighbourhood and enjoy a bit of company with one another.  We're currently working on the specific events, dates and locations, and we'll have more to share on this soon.

We've also created a Community Activation Pack (CAP) filled with items and games that Community Associations and neighbourhoods can book and use to host gatherings.  You'll find the list of items and a booking form below.

Teddy Bears Picnic

We're hosting a Teddy Bears Picnic in both Wānaka and Queenstown in the first weekend of March, and you're invited!  Bring your favourite, most loved Teddy Bear and a picnic and come on down.  There's fun for all the whanau with live performances, story telling, bubbles, a free sausage sizzle, food vendors, face painting, colouring in, magical creatures, life sized bears, sports and games, a bouncy castle, horizontal bungy and much, much more.

Hosted by QLDC, the Teddy Bears Picnic in both Wānaka and Queenstown will showcase the best children's entertainment our community has to offer.  Both events are free to attend.
