Arrowtown Reserve Management Plan Hearing   - Media Advisory Tuesday 30 July 2013

 The hearing will be held this week on the Arrowtown Management Plan, Queenstown Lakes District Council general manager operations Ruth Stokes said. The Council received 32 submission in all with comments falling into four categories, namely Jack Reid Park (Arrowtown Sports Facility), Lake Hayes, freedom camping and a number of various comments.

“In total we have seven individuals or organisations indicate they wish to speak and in the interests of meeting the timeframes we gave in the consultation process and giving some clarity regarding the Arrowtown Sports Facility proposal, we decided to schedule the hearing as soon as possible,” Ms Stokes said.

 The hearing would take place on Thursday morning at the Queenstown Council Chambers on Gorge Road and was open to the public, commencing 9.30am. All submissions, including a summary of submissions are available online here. Any recommendation would be further considered by Council.
