Join QLDC Sport & Recreation during Mental Health Awareness week to get moving, raise awareness and funds for Mental Health Foundation NZ.Aquatic Classes Move for Mental Health Fundraiser Whakatipu Walkie Talkies
Bring a friend to any of our aquatic classes and you'll both go for free! It's a great way to get in shape and take care of yourself!
We'll encourage participants to share tips on how to take care of your mental health and we'll learn from each other.

Move for Mental Health Fundraiser - 29 September
We're aiming to move 12 hours non-stop to raise funds and awareness for Mental Health Foundation NZ!
When: Thursday 29 September , 8.00am to 8.00pm
Where: Alpine Health and Fitness gym and outside (running track)
You can support our fundraiser by moving with us - sign up at reception for 15 minute slots! Or by donating to our fundraising page.
Whakatipu Walkie Talkies
When: Thursday, 29 September 10.15am
A walking group with a difference! Each week there will be a discussion topic and a guest speaker will attend once per month. It's a great way to connect with others whilst staying active.
The group will walk and talk from Frankton Beach to the Hilton for morning tea and return.
Meet at Frankton Beach near the BBQ area to begin the walk.
