Activities in a Public Place - Registration Form

By registering your activity you confirm that the details provided by you are correct, and that you understand and agree to comply with the conditions of the Queenstown Lakes District Council Activities in Public Places Bylaw 2016.

Please do not use this application form if you want to:

  • Run an activity in a public place for more than one hour in the same location. Instead please apply for a permit to hold an event on a public reserve. Complete the Venue & Event Enquiry Form  and the venues team will contact you about booking an appropriate space for your event.
  • Set up a mobile food business in the district. Instead please email enquiries about setting up a mobile food business to and the QLDC Environmental Health Team will contact you to discuss the process and requirements.
