We are now at Alert Level 2 (Auckland is at Alert Level Three) until Sunday 7 March.

Our offices and facilities remain open during this time and we ask you observe physical distance guidance and good hygiene and coughing practices when visiting, and scan in using the QR codes and remember to turn on bluetooth in the COVID-19 tracer app. Some of our services have changed, find out more here.

Wānaka Community Board Deputy Chair

I moved to Wānaka with my family in 2003 after purchasing Radio Wānaka, one of only a handful of community radio stations still operating in New Zealand.  In 2012 I was appointed General Manager of the world-famous Warbirds Over Wānaka International Airshow and in 2016 I was first elected to the Wānaka Community Board.  I am passionate about Wānaka and was re-elected to the Board in 2019.  I’m excited by the huge potential our current small tourist town has to become a world-class small city.  However, I believe that we need to work harder to diversify our economy so we are not reliant on just one industry.  Wānaka is in an ideal position to become a world-class centre of excellence for the likes of education, technology and aviation.
