Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) has lifted water restrictions in Arthurs Point, Lake Hāwea and Luggate.

QLDC would like to thank residents and visitors for their efforts in reducing water usage. However, with the potential for a return of hot and dry weather it is still very important to conserve water where possible. There are many ways to do this, including using timers for sprinklers to ensure irrigation occurs between midnight and 6.00am when demand is low.

A full list of water conservation ideas can be found here: https://www.qldc.govt.nz/services/water-services/water-supply/water-conservation.
