Queenstown Events Centre and Wānaka Recreation Centre are multi-purpose sport and recreation facilities with a range of different playing surfaces for all types of activities.

Queenstown Events Centre
QEC has two indoor, fully-sprung wooden courts for a wide variety of activities like basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton, futsal, table tennis and floorball.
Play equipment is available on site.
Six outdoor asphalt courts at QEC are geared up for tennis in the warmer months and netball over winter. In addition there are two artificial turf courts near the Frankton lakefront which are set up for tennis in summer and hockey in winter.
A new, full size artificial turf perfect for futsal, hockey and so much more!

Wānaka Recreation Centre has two rebound ace impact indoor courts that are home to a range of sports including netball, futsal, basketball, badminton, tennis, pickleball, table tennis and volleyball.
Outdoors there is an artificial turf set up with three netball courts and a hockey field.

QLDC Sport and Recreation's event trailer comes with recreation, sport and event equipment - all packed into one trailer. The trailer is available for hire by community groups, and for private and commercial purposes.
Equipment includes a badminton net, soccer goals, yard games, obstacle course gear, tug of war and plenty more. Click here to see the full equipment list.

$200 per day
Standard (individuals for private purposes such as birthday parties)

Community (non-profit organisations, community groups and fundraising events)

+$200 outside Queenstown
*Excludes $500 bond on file per booking.
