Our AquaBoards programme is an instructor-led, full-body workout that uses the gentle movement of pool water combined with high-intensity interval training and yoga-inspired exercises to challenge you.

Suitable for ages 16+.

Wānaka Recreation Centre

Casual sessions with no regular commitment - just choose the weeks you want.

  • Mondays 7.15-8.00pm

  • Members $5.00 / Non-members $6.50 + pool entry (ask us about the benefits of membership!).

Alpine Aqualand

There are two different styles of AquaBoards class at Queenstown Events Centre:

  • Balance; a low-impact, moderate-intensity class combining poses and body weight exercises to deliver a full body workout.

  •  HIIT; a high-intensity workout that builds both strength and endurance by combining functional exercises with the instability of water.

Both styles run in two five-week blocks over a ten-week term (to match school terms) with a maximum number of eight in each class:

  • Balance; Wednesday mornings 11.15-12.00pm - the pool space and boards are available but this doesn't have an instructor at the moment

  • HIIT; Tuesday evenings 7.00-7.30pm - the pool space and boards are available but this doesn't have an instructor at the moment
