Alpine Health and Fitness Gym programmes - a year in review
We've taken great pride in offering new and returning programmes throughout the year for Alpine Health and Fitness members.

There was something for everyone in the gym this year! We've taken great pride in offering new and returning programmes throughout the year for Alpine Health and Fitness members. Now is a great time to become a gym member, as we look back on what was a great year of programming.
We introduced two brand new exercise and nutrition challenges involving regular nutrition guidance and exclusive exercise classes. Members were winning prizes and achieving their goals! You can't ignore the kitchen when wanting to improve your fitness.
Core muscles are important. It's definition literally states "...that is central to its existence or character". We developed two new programmes with this in mind - 'restore your core' and 'rehab and recovery. These programmes were great for targeting dep core and postural muscles and for managing an injury or condition respectively.
We didn't forget mums! We offered a suite of programmes to take of your health during the pregnancy (You and Me) and after the birth (You Time) to bring you back to exercise safely.
Endurance athletes got the chance to go through RPM Epic, which is the ultimate class to prepare for long distance events. Thanks Andi P for guiding the class and we had such a fantastic turnout.
Skiers and snowboarders were offered Ski-Lates as a prehab course ahead of the winter season. Thanks Aimee for instructing and hopefully there were fewer injuries!
Then there were the classics - our tell me yes bootcamp, this is rigged, and knockout boxing bootcamp - which were a hit (pun intended!) All of these will return next year so stay tuned and get in quick as they fill up fast.
Women and Weights and Mates and Weights were back by popular demand. Run by our knowledgeable gym crew, these free workshops teach members the basics of weight training, including technique, gym etiquette and how to structure a workout.
There was a fantastic turnout for our annual Grit Games in May. Our teams truly showed their competitive side with 60 minutes of heart-racing challenges.
For our yogis, we had plenty to offer including our Yin Late Night series with Clarissa, Intro to Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, Tai Chi and Mindfulness courses. These are all great options to progress your ability for our regular classes.
Finally, for our younger ones we have been running our Strength101 and Strength102 programmes during each school term. These programmes introduce teenagers to strength training in a safe environment, focusing on developing technique and fundamental movement patterns.
A big thank you to all our members for turning up and participating with enthusiasm, athleticism and hopefully a smile or two. It's always great to see a programme come to life and be enjoyed by many.
We're looking forward to offering more classes in 2022 and helping everyone achieve their fitness goals. Don’t forget to sign up for a gym membership.
Here are a select few photos of the year!
