Urban Intensification Variation formally notified
Changes to the Proposed District Plan now have legal effect.
Following adoption of an Independent Hearing Panel Report and its recommendations earlier in February, the Council’s decision on the Urban Intensification Variation was formally notified on Friday 20 February and the changes to the Proposed District Plan now have legal effect. They will not be treated as fully operative until the appeal period is exhausted and any relevant appeals (if any) are resolved.
Submitters have 30 working days from date of notification to lodge an appeal with the Environment Court.
More information on the decision and guidance for plan users is available online at http://www.qldc.govt.nz/uiv.
