Bylaws
Kā Ture
As a territorial authority, we make bylaws under the Local Government Act 2002 for three main reasons:

to protect you, the public, from nuisance;

to protect, promote and maintain public heath and safety; and

to minimise the potential for offensive behaviour in public places.
