Outlined below are the latest notified resource consents and hearings. Also detailed on this page are the steps to follow if you would like to make a submission on one of these proposals.

Publicly notified resource consents

  • Resource consent is sought to subdivide Lot 2 of RM210780 (currently held as Lot 1 DP 27661 (OT18D/262) into four allotments; three for residential purposes and one for legal access into proposed Lots 1 and 2 and undertake associated earthworks and landscaping at 372 Wanaka-Luggate Highway, Wanaka

  • Application under Section 88 of the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) to identify two new residential building platforms, for two sheds associated with a Rural Industrial activity and 16 single bedroom residential units for the purpose of workers accommodation 230 Mount Barker Road, Wanaka

  • Subdivision consent to undertake a two lot, freehold subdivision. Proposed Lot 1 is 1800m2 and will be accessed via a new vehicle crossing from Northburn Road. Proposed Lot 2 is 2201m2, contains an existing residential unit, and retains access via an existing right-of-way off Northburn Road at 22 Northburn Road, Wanaka


Limited notified resource consents

Section 95B of the Resource Management Act 1991, and Section 29 of the Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Act 2013, provides that only parties served with Limited Notifications are permitted to make a formal submission.

  • Consent is sought under section 88 of the RMA to establish a 1000m2 residential building platform on Lot 7 DP497681. Consent is also sought under section 127 of the RMA to vary condition 12 of resource consent RM010388 to vary a covenant to allow future residential development on the proposed building platform to occur 37 Bluff Lane in the Gibbston Valley, Queenstown
