A wastewater overflow has entered Lake Whakatipu along part of the Frankton Arm near Goldfield Heights. The issue was resolved within five minutes of the overflow occurring, but warning signage has been erected on the lakefront in the affected area. Water quality testing is underway and signage will be removed once clear results are returned.

Section 95B of the Resource Management Act 1991, and Section 29 of the Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Act 2013, provides that only parties served with Limited Notifications are permitted to make a formal submission.

  • Undertake residential visitor accommodation (RVA) from within an existing residential apartment for 365 nights per year, for up to nine persons at 6a Lordens Place, Queenstown.

  • Land use consent to establish a water intake structure, undertake earthworks, and clear vegetation in proximity to the Kawarau River and consent under s.127 to change Conditions 1, 21 and 26 of resource consent RM220392 to include the water intake structure within the updated plan set at Kawarau River, adjacent to 1820 Gibbston Highway, Queenstown.
