Walking Netball at Wānaka Recreation Centre
Walking Netball at Wānaka Recreation Centre is a great way to get moving, learn new skills and have a blast with friends. It involves playing netball, but running is not allowed! One heel must be on the ground at all times.

Walking netball is a fun, low-impact way to enjoy the game, making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels. With simple modifications to the traditional rules (no running or jumping) it’s easier to learn while still offering plenty of challenge and teamwork. Whether you’re returning to netball, trying it for the first time, or just looking to stay active in a supportive environment, walking netball is a great option. Join our social sessions to meet new people, have a laugh, and build your confidence on the court!
