Subdivision Code of Practice (CoP)

Our Land Development and Subdivision Code of Practice (CoP) sets out the minimum standards that must be met for works and infrastructure constructed within a new development.

The applicable CoP to your development is listed within your consent conditions, however we encourage all developments where older versions are referenced to meet the 2025 CoP where possible. This is because the 2025 CoP provides requirements closer aligned with current best practice.

We’re taking community feedback on the current Code of Practice for Land Development and Subdivisions

This February, we're looking for feedback to help inform the scope of our Code of Practice updates, with a particular focus on roading and transportation provisions.

We would also like any feedback you may have on other parts of the Code too!
