Kā Kaupapa Here
Here you can find all Council policies, strategies and information relating to how we are governed.
-
The Council has to adopt a Local Governance Statement every three years. The statement outlines:
- How the Council engages with the community;
- How decisions are made;
- How residents can influence these processes.
Importantly, the statement promotes local democracy by providing you, the community, with information about the different ways you can influence local democratic processes.
