CCTV - Public use
CCTV – mo te hāpori
We own and manage Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) networks in Queenstown, Wānaka and Arrowtown.
Our objectives for camera surveillance are to support crime prevention within the district, facilitate regulatory enforcement and support public safety on Council property.
As Council, we must comply with the provisions of both the Privacy Act 1993 and the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).

CCTV has been installed in a number of new locations in Wānaka. These are:

Roys Bay Boat Trailer Parking Area (Gravel Area),

Roys Bay Parking Area, Yellow Lined Area

Roys Bay P5 Parking zone

Roys Bay Disabled Carpark Zone
