QLDC 3Waters Ltd Board Meetings

The Board is committed to working in an open and transparent way, and recognises its accountability to its sole shareholder (QLDC) and to the hapori/communities it will ultimately serve.

Dates, times and venues for upcoming Board meetings will be published on this page at least two working days in advance, along with the agenda for each meeting. Members of the public will be welcome to attend public parts of the Board meetings as observers.

Minutes from past Board meetings will also be available on this page.

Board meetings during the Establishment phase

The Board’s first meeting will be an online meeting on 16 July 2026. This will mark the start of an intensive establishment programme of work designed to ensure the Company is ready to assume responsibility for delivering water services on behalf of QLDC from 1 July 2027.

During this establishment phase, the Board will be working through commercially sensitive material, including legal advice and negotiations relating to employment and organisational planning. To protect the interests of the company, its staff and the public, some discussions will need to be held in public excluded session where permitted by the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987. Where this occurs, the agenda will identify the reasons and the minutes will record the Board's resolution.
