A boil water is in place for businesses and properties across Queenstown following a number of confirmed local cases of illness caused by the protozoa, cryptosporidium. This affects all properties serviced by the Council’s Queenstown supply including Frankton, Quail Rise and Tucker Beach Rd, Kelvin Heights and Hanley’s Farm. Pets are family members and we understand it can be very distressing in the event that one goes missing.  Please contact us as soon as possible to advise us of your pet’s details.  Then, our Animal Control staff can work to locate your pet and return it to you as soon as possible.

Some helpful details about your pet to share with our team are:

  • Type of animal.

  • Registration tag number.

  • Breed.

  • Colour.

  • Sex.

  • Last known location.
