Statement
If successful, this will be my third term on the WUCCB and again I am fully prepared and aware of the challenges facing us over the coming term.
The greatest challenge we face now and have done in the past, is getting the local community involved.
People are far too quick to criticise and far too reticent to be involved early on.
As a board we always have a number of meetings to discuss our personal goals for the community and I’m sure that again we will all have a very similar vision as to what we see as the priorities. For me these include but are not limited to completing safe crossings to the lakefront and at busy intersections; better parking management; and let’s not forget, getting full local involvement in how the airport should function over the coming decades.
