Statement
I am standing for Arrowtown Kawarau Ward councillor position in the 2025 local elections. My focus for the upcoming triennium is to ensure value for money for our rate payers by ensuring the council takes accountability for service and infrastructure delivery. Capital projects are taking too long to complete and costing far too much, not to mention the excessive use of road cones, and I believe I have the skillset to drive change in this area. Council debt is getting to critical levels which also need addressed, and this can only be achieved by responsible use of rate payers' funds. I live in Arrowtown, and love the Queenstown Lakes, I have experience in local government (I was the Arrowtown Ward councillor from 2019 to 2022) as well as a financial background, and I'd be honoured to represent you for the next three years.
