Statement
I’m standing for Arrowtown–Kawarau. I believe this community deserves a strong, steady voice that listens, understands, and delivers. I live here, and care deeply about the challenges we all face —access to housing, growth, the infrastructure deficit and the protection of what makes this place unique. Currently farming in Gibbston, I bring a long background in finance and governance, accountability, and long-term thinking. I’ve spent my career helping organizations balance ambition with sustainability — and I believe council should be no different. I’m here to represent you — the families, workers, business owners, and locals (new and lifelong) who want practical solutions, not political noise. You’ve told us you want transparency, environmental integrity, and smart growth — and I will be relentless in making sure your voice is heard. Let’s protect what makes this place special, while planning wisely for its future. Vote ‘Q’ Belk.
