Statement
I am running for Council to support our community to continue to thrive. Living here since 2005 and working as a commercial solicitor, I feel that I understand local needs and challenges. As Chair of the 45South Community Foundation and former Chair of the Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust, I have a solid record of successful, high level community service. I advocate for smarter transport, fewer vacant homes, better health care services, and a diverse sustainable economy. I believe that the Council can play a stronger role in supporting these goals. Our District faces numerous challenges (some are positive challenges) and I possess the experience, skills, and passion to make a meaningful difference. I am practical, commercially minded, and since 2005, have committed to fostering a resilient community through my professional and volunteer work. Please consider voting for me in the upcoming election.
