Cut travel emissions and win prizes with the Weekday Challenge this spring

Queenstown Lakes workplaces are being encouraged to get moving and take part in the Weekday Challenge.

Active Travel Mountain Biking Trails

Queenstown Lakes workplaces are being encouraged to get moving and take part in the Weekday Challenge, running from 1 September to 30 November.

Supported by Queenstown Lakes District Council, the challenge encourages participants to swap drive-alone journeys for active and shared transport options including walking, running, cycling, scootering, public transport and carpooling.

Participants can join as individuals or as part of a workplace team and earn points for every sustainable trip recorded throughout the challenge.

Make every trip count and be in to win monthly prizes, including $100 vouchers, workplace morning tea shouts, and a grand prize of $500.

The challenge is a fun way to get involved, help your workplace climb the leaderboard, and join others across the district in exploring different ways to get around.

Register now on the Weekday Challenge website.
