Is this just for kids?
Yes this is just for children 5 years or older. However, due to the demand we're going to try and organise an adult class. If you want to reserve your spot or be notified about this, then please email alexa.peters@qldc.govt.nz.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your own skates for your child. If you don't have skates, they can be hired but it's great for learning if they get used to their own pair!
Bringing a helmet , knee and elbow protection is also highly recommended!
What about Rollerblading?
Rollerblades should be fine but the drills and exercises are specifically for roller skates. You'll be able to hire them if you don't have a pair. Some of the drills and exercises will be transferrable to rollerblading, however we encourage you to wear roller skates during the class.
